Established in 1979, Buddina State School has grown into one of the Sunshine Coast's most respected primary schools. Since becoming an Independent Public School in 2016, we have continued to strengthen our commitment to high-quality teaching, strong student outcomes and meaningful community partnerships.
With over 700 students from Prep to Year 6, Buddina offers a rich and balanced education. Alongside the Australian Curriculum, students have access to a wide range of extension and enrichment opportunities, including our Inspire Excellence Programme, Artist in Residence Programme, biennial school musical, and specialist academies such as surfing, dance and skateboarding. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover and develop their unique strengths.
Our reputation for excellence is built on the dedication and expertise of our staff. Our teachers are committed to knowing every student and supporting them to achieve their personal best. A strong and responsive support network ensures that students of all abilities are challenged, supported and celebrated.
We are proud of our engaged and supportive parent community. Our active P&C plays an important role in strengthening connections across the school and enhancing opportunities for students. This year, the P&C is focused on building strong, positive relationships by increasing family involvement in school events to foster belonging and by supporting student learning through the provision of resources and programs across the school.
Buddina is more than a school — it is a connected, welcoming community where families are encouraged to be involved in both learning and school life. Together, we create an environment where students thrive.
