​​​​​​​Russell Thompson.JPG​Buddina State School is a highly respected primary school, built on a rich tradition of excellence within a vibrant school community.  Our school caters for children from Prep to Year 6. 

We ensure that students have opportunities to achieve their maximum potential in a happy, caring and safe environment. 

 We are proud of our outstanding student outcomes.  

We believe that every child can be successful through our three pillars of: 

  • Belonging:  students feel that they belong to the school
  • Engaging:  students are engaged in their time at Buddina (academic, social and emotionally)
  • Learning:  students are learning alongside their peers. 

Our school plays a significant role in the lives of children as they grow and develop, preparing them for the ever-changing world. In partnership with parents and other members of the community, our school provides students with learning opportunities which equips them to be successful learners not only now, but in the future. 

We believe that our school community has a shared responsibility to maintain strong, positive relationships to support academically and socially competent students who are lifelong learners and custodians of the environment.  We hold high expectations for our students both in their school work and behaviour through our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).  These expectations are complemented by our school expectations:  care for our​selves, care for others, care for our learning, care for our school.  We call these "The Buddina Caring Values".  

At Buddina, student learning is at the core of decision making to ensure an inclusive learning environment where students are valued and supported – it is at the forefront of all that we do.  Just like the school motto says – Honour, Honesty, Pride.
