What is the P&C?

The Buddina State School P&C Association is a group of passionate parents, carers, and community members who work together to support Buddina State School.

If you:

• Want to meet other parents
• Want to contribute to your child's school experience
• Aren't sure where to start

…then becoming a P&C member is a fantastic way to get involved!

General Meetings are held twice a term on Wednesday evenings at The Hub, with an option to join online. Active members receive a meeting link directly to their email.

Your input — big or small — is incredibly valuable!

What We Do

The P&C's primary focus areas are:

• Fostering community interest in education
• Advising and supporting the school leadership team
• Fundraising for facilities, equipment, and school events
• Managing the school's Tuckshop (The Wave Break Café) and Uniform Shop

How You Can Get Involved!

Membership is free and gives you voting rights at meetings.

Ways to Help P&C:

• Parent Volunteers: Help with simple event tasks like setting up, packing down, and poster displays.
• Event Volunteers: Assist at fun events (popcorn makers needed!)
• Raffle Helpers: Wrap hampers, sell tickets, and help make raffles amazing.
• Tuckshop Volunteers: Help prepare food or serve kids at The Wave Break Café.
• Uniform Shop Volunteers: Sort and sell second-hand uniforms.
• Monetary Donations: Donate through Flexischools to help fund programs.
• Prize Donations: Donate items for raffles — big or small businesses welcome!
• Event Sponsorship: Help fund or sponsor a P&C project orevent.​
  

Our school tuckshop is open Monday to Friday for both First and Second Break.
It's staffed by a crew and volunteers always needed.

You can volunteer for:

• A full day
• First Break (our busiest time!)
• A short task like cutting up salad or baking pikelets

Second Hand Uniform Shop 👕

The Second-Hand Uniform Shop is a fantastic resource for families looking for affordable, good-quality school uniforms!

• You'll find a range of pre-loved uniforms ready for a second life — proceeds go back to supporting the school community.

Where and When?
Location: The Wave Break Café (Tuckshop)
Opening Hours: Wednesday mornings, 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM

• Donations of clean, good-quality uniforms are always welcome — simply drop them off at the school office or at the Uniform Shop during opening times.

P&C Meetings 🗓️

In 2026, Buddina State School P&C meetings will be held twice per term at The Hub on school grounds.

Meetings are also streamed online for convenience, with links sent via email by the principal only to active members the week of each meeting.
